In active development

We’re prototyping a desktop-style workspace for OpsCentre modules.

OpsCentre OS is an in-development concept — a fictional police workstation. Instead of logging into a website, you sign into a believable computer: a desktop, app icons, a taskbar with a secure-session indicator and a live clock, and your modules running as applications inside it.

RMS, LEDS, internal Mail, your Pocket Note Book, the Reference Book, the Force Intranet — each would run as an app on the machine, in one coherent environment.

OpsCentre OS is in active development and its exact shape is evolving as we build. What you see here is a concept of the direction — not a finished specification. Every part of it is included in your subscription as it ships.

The concept

Sign in, and you’re at a workstation.

A glimpse of the idea: the force desktop, with your applications a click away and a secure session running across all of them. This is an early concept — the real design is still being drawn up.

Illustrative concept. The OpsCentre OS design is in development and will evolve — apps shown are a representative selection, not a final list.

Why an operating system

Because authenticity goes all the way down.

A real officer sits at a terminal running dedicated applications. OpsCentre OS aims to extend the procedural detail already in the modules to the whole environment.

One believable machine

The live modules already have their own skins — the Niche-style RMS, the LEDS terminal, the PULSE reskin. The OS would be the shell that unifies them into a single coherent workstation, with the secure-session loading screen you already meet at sign-in.

A home for everything

Internal Mail, a reference toolkit, the Force Intranet — the pieces that don’t fit neatly into a sidebar all become apps on the desktop. A cleaner story than bolting each one on separately.

Station and vehicle

The OS is the station workstation experience. Its counterpart is the in-vehicle mobile terminal — the lighter, officer-on-the-move view. Two environments, one platform, the right tool for where the officer is.

Nothing else like it

We’re not aware of roleplay tooling that presents itself as a cohesive police operating system. It’s the kind of environment that makes the work feel real.

The applications

Your modules, as apps on the machine.

The OS would host what’s already live alongside what’s coming. This is a representative set of the applications we’re building toward — the exact line-up will evolve.

Records

Module live today

The full records management system — nominals, custody, intelligence, reports and prosecution.

LEDS / PULSE

Module live today

The credential-gated lookup terminal — person, vehicle, address, property and firearms.

Mail

On the roadmap

Internal member-to-member messaging and force email, inside the environment rather than off in Discord.

Pocket Note Book

In development

An officer’s contemporaneous notebook — quick, structured notes that link back to records.

Reference Book

In development

A reference toolkit — legislation, codes, procedures and force policy a click away.

Force Intranet

On the roadmap

The community’s internal hub — announcements, documents, SOPs and policies in one place.

Beyond the desktop

The longer-term ambition.

OpsCentre OS is the environment — and these are the bigger bets we’re building toward inside and around it. Long-term goals, set by community demand and what unlocks the most value, with no committed dates.

Big Bet

Custom radio & comms suite

A bespoke TETRA-style radio system built into the OS — talkgroups, patching, lone-worker alerts, status codes and an emergency button, integrated with dispatch. Designed for roleplay realism, not reskinned off-the-shelf voice tooling.

Big Bet

First-class in-game integration

Deep integration with the game world — lookups from in-game terminals, incidents triggered by world events, officer status syncing, and fleet tied to actual vehicles. One source of truth across browser and game. (Our integration work — not an affiliation with any game platform.)

Big Bet

Native in-game devices

Handheld radios, terminals and tablets in the game world that talk to OpsCentre directly — no third-party radio plugin, no separate dispatch product, no copy-pasted incident numbers.

Big Bet

Cross-community federation

Opt-in federation between communities for joint exercises, mutual aid and cross-force operations. Your data stays isolated by default — you share only what you choose, when you choose.

Big Bet

Digital evidence management

Body-worn video, CCTV seizures, exhibit handling, chain-of-custody and prosecution-bundle generation — designed to feel like the real thing without the real paperwork.

Big Bet

Public API & plugins

An API and plugin system so communities and developers can extend OpsCentre — build dashboards, connect resources and automate workflows without us hand-rolling every integration.

The vision is OpsCentre OS. The platform is live today.

You don’t have to wait for the desktop to get the depth. The records, intelligence, LEDS and compliance backbone are working now — and everything we build toward OpsCentre OS is included in your subscription as it ships.

Module availability reflects current development status and is subject to change.
